He was born in 1923 in the village of Tai Shan, China.
He immigrated to the United State at the age of 10 to

very hard as a teenager in various jobs in China Town

One of the First Herbal Shops in Seattle.
After receiving the herbal medicine degree, he came
back to Seattle and opened his first herbal shop, "Hen
Sen Herbs" in China Town on the corner of 8th and King
St.. He was very well received from the beginning and
people loved him because of his sincere and genuinely
caring personality.
Soon, he became so busy that he could no longer handle
it himself. Dr. Jue and his wife was one of the first
ones, along with countless others, who contributed to
the work of Hen Sen. Most of the people who helped Hen
Sen, including Mrs. Jue, (left picture) were patients
of Hen Sen themselves. They benefited greatly from Hen
Sen's herbs. So in many cases, they volunteered their
time to learn more about herbs form him.
