Lately I noticed Juli has been prescribing the herbs called, “Candida Cleanse Herbs,” to her patients. She told me that many people especially women are getting great results from the herbs. “Candida Feeds on Sugar! You have to stop eating sweets!” Is Juli’s favorite line. After hearing her say it a million times, it finally dawned on me that my love for sugar combined with stress was creating perfect environment in my gut for Candida overgrowth. It is like 2 hurricanes combined to create Category 5 super hurricane, “The Perfect Storm” - Candida Overgrowth is the “The Perfect Storm.” Once you have this condition nothing you do will help reverse this condition unless…something more powerful overpowers it.
I have a confession to make. I have not been completely honest with
you. I’ve been a fool for a long, long time. My whole life has been one
big lie. Though I’ve never hurt or lied to anyone about it, I feel like
I have committed a sin.
It turned out I was not as strong as I thought. I lost control in multiple occasions. This habit of mine has definitely affected my health.
My capacity to think clearly for myself has diminished to the point where I can no longer tell the difference between the reality and the illusion. My will power is almost non-existent. All I know is that it feels good when I put this substance in my mouth. It gives me an instant gratification. All my stress melts away, and it frees me from the pain and the suffering….at least temporarily.
When I was in college, I took a course on child education. We did an experiment with two children to test how patient they can be and what their motivation is when it comes to rewards. Our subjects were twin girls at the age of 5. They didn’t know why they were coming in or what was going to happen. Our experiment began with separating the twins into 2 different rooms. One room had our subject Stacey, and the other had her sister Valerie. They couldn’t see, or hear each other between the room which validated that they won’t copy each other and there are no other influences. This experiment we were testing is called the marshmallow test. By tempting the child with a marshmallow on a plate you explain that if they are willing to wait 10 minutes without eating the marshmallow, you will be rewarded a second marshmallow at the end of the 10 minutes. But if the subject eats the marshmallow before the 10 minutes are up, there will not be a second marshmallow.
“What is the cause?” According to Chinese pathology there are three principal causes of disharmony that brings about diseases: external factors, emotions and irregularities in day-to-day living. Of the main five organs (Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lung and Kidney) which one(s) is causing the illness and what is causing the organ(s) to become imbalanced? Each organ has a Yin and Yang element within, and it is the imbalance between them that leads to disease. Through diagnosis the Herbalist hopes to balance the patients system by first cleansing it, then soothing it and finally by building up the patients system and entire condition. However, without the patient’s cooperation in maintaining a proper diet and lifestyle the herbalist and patient will be running a circle.
Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that things have progressed more than I thought. My body temp feels much cooler and going back to the herbs has helped regulate my bowels and in return has cleared my acne. The pills you prescribed in conjuction with the herbs is really making a difference. It's only been 1 week but already feeling amazing.
Julie Isogai is a Godsend. I’ve had multiple misdiagnoses from doctors, not taking my DNA, my history as a child nor traumatic events into consideration. If it weren’t for care received in the past by the few medical doctors I trust and the excellent care I’ve received from Julie, I don’t know if I would still be here!
Julie is kind, soft-spoken and is not condescending; it is evident she genuinely cares for her patients. Her goal is to see her patients get well, not needing to see her on a regular basis, nor prescribing harmful medications that have a lifetime of side effects. It is clear that this is her passion, like the doctors of old who carried a black bag and made house calls.
She is a devoted wife and mother and is the primary herbalist in her practice, trained by her deceased father, who was considered a doctor in China. Her husband, Kaz Isogai supports Hensen Herbs by greeting patients, managing their busy family life and is the backbone of their business.
I’ve seen medications from false diagnoses destroy my family of origin as well as my own health, so I prefer managing my health prefer with a combination of naturopathic approaches including lifestyle, diet, herbs and supplements. It is important to have caregivers you trust, including both medical doctors as well as caregivers who take a more naturopathic approach (herbalists, chiropractors, physical therapists, etc.). I find it ironic and suspicious when a doctor is asked face-to-face if they, too, take the medications they recommend for similar symptoms as mine yet they admit that they take supplements or a naturopathic approach instead! I’ve said for years that it is time that the West meets the East in terms of healthcare, which is why I highly recommend Hensen Herbs.
